Welcome to Avela Careers (avelacareers.com). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services

Avela Careers provides educational and career guidance services including, but not limited to, mentorship, graduate school consulting, scholarship guidance, resume and statement review, and career development resources. All services are provided on an informational basis and do not guarantee admission, scholarships, or job placement.

2. User eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using this site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Some services offered on Avela Careers require payment. By purchasing a service, you agree to pay the stated fees. All payments are processed securely by our payment providers.

One-on-one sessions (First Steps Call, Graduate School Application Starter, Scholarship Strategy Session):

• If you cancel at least 2 business days before your scheduled session, you will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 2 business days before the session, and missed sessions (no-shows), are not refunded.
• You may reschedule using the link in your booking confirmation email, subject to availability.

Document reviews and application support (including CV, Resume & Application Review and Admission Application Preparation & Processing): payments are non-refundable once we have started work on your documents or application.

If we cancel: if Avela Careers needs to cancel a session, you may choose a full refund or a new time.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card provider and usually take 5–10 business days.

Due to the personalized nature of our services, payments are otherwise non-refundable once the service has been delivered or initiated, unless agreed in writing.

4. User responsibilities

You agree to use the website and our services for lawful purposes only. You may not:

• Use the site for any fraudulent or harmful activity
• Share confidential materials or personal data of others without permission
• Reproduce, duplicate, or sell any part of the service without written permission

5. Intellectual property

All content on avelacareers.com including text, graphics, logos, and program materials is the property of Avela Careers or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers

Avela Careers does not make any guarantees regarding admission outcomes, scholarship awards, or employment results. Our guidance is based on experience and research, but outcomes depend on factors beyond our control.

We do not offer immigration advice and are not licensed immigration consultants. Please consult a certified immigration professional for any visa or residency-related questions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avela Careers and its team will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from the use of our website or services.

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
